The beads Each Nostalgia ornament is finished with authentic Ghanaian glass beads - handmade by bead makers in Ghana whose craft is woven into the cultural fabric of West Africa. The beads are not decorative afterthoughts. They are the reason each ornament is as beautiful to look at as it is functional to use.

Because the bead makers in Ghana regularly update their designs, the beads on your ornament may differ from those pictured. The scent remains the same. The beads are always one of a kind - a small, quiet reminder that something genuinely handmade passed through real hands before it reached yours.

About the fragrance oil The fragrance oil used in Nostalgia is phthalate-free. Phthalates are a class of chemical compounds commonly used in synthetic fragrance to help scent last longer - and among the most frequently cited concerns for people with fragrance sensitivity and those avoiding potentially harmful chemicals in their home. We chose a phthalate-free fragrance oil deliberately, as part of our broader commitment to making products that are as considered as possible for the people who use them.
